Parma

Stendhal 4*

The Hotel Stendhal was specifically built near the impressive Palazzo della Pilotta, which once belonged to the Farnese family and is now home to several museums.

The rooms have been scrupulously decorated in a variety of styles that includes Baroque Louis XV, Empire Venetian and Maggiolini-inspired Neoclassical Lombard decor, giving each room its own, special personality. Many of the rooms have been decorated mainly in the Empire style, with hints of “Directoire” decor. The period furniture (wardrobes, chests of drawers, headboards, chairs, armchairs, tables, bedside tables, mirrors, etc.) is reminiscent of a long era that encompasses Charles X, Louis Philippe and Napoleon III – indeed, it befits a city that has always been open to the influence of French culture – and with the arrival of Marie Louise, it also spans the second reign of the Borboni and part of the Unification of Italy. The hotel offers 10 single rooms, 52 double rooms and non-smoking rooms

All the rooms are equipped with:Mini bar, direct telephone line ADSL Internet connection, satellite TV and SKY TV, hairdryer, air-conditioning. Safety deposit boxes are available free of charge at the reception desk.

The newly refurbished restaurant "La Pilotta", is a sophisticated venue to sample our local culinary delights.

Whether you are visiting Parma for business or pleasure, there are many reasons to stay at the Hotel Stendhal.
