Proposal 4 - Pilgrimage tour - 11 days/ 10 nights
Day 1 Rome
Arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport and meeting with our Tour Escort.
Transfer by private coach to your hotel. Accommodation at hotel.
Rome by night with local guide and visit of Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon,
Navona Square with the Four River Fountain, Bernini’s masterpiece.
Welcome dinner at restaurant close to Piazza Navona and overnight.
Day 2 Rome
After breakfast you will meet the local guide for a full day visit of Rome including St. Mary Major Basilica, St. John’s in Lateran Basilica and Holy Stairs, Vatican Museum with Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. Back to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Rome/ Montecassino/Pietrelcina/San Giovanni Rotondo (376 km)
After breakfast departure for the visit guided visit of Montecassino Abbey . After leaving Subiaco, Benedict went towards Cassino and in the period between 525 and 529, he founded the Abbey of Montecassino, that would become the most famous abbey in continental Europe. Continue for Pietrelcina and visit of the Natal home of Padre Pio. Continue to San Giovanni Rotondo. Accommodation in hotel dinner and overnight.
Day 4 San Giovanni Rotondo ( 50 km)
After breakfast at hotel half day visit with local guide of the places of Padre Pio.

Day 5 San Giovanni Rotondo/Lanciano/Loreto (315 km )
After breakfast departure for the visit of Lanciano and visit of the Sanctuary of Eucharistic
Miracle. Continue to Loreto for the visit of the Holy House of Loreto, one of the most Marian
Shrines in Europe. Accommodation at hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 6 Loreto/Cascia/Assisi ( 215 km)
After breakfast departure for the visit of the Basilica of St. Rita a great evangelizer. Day 7 Assisi

Day 8 Assisi /Florence/Padua ( 390 km)
After breakfast departure for Florence . Half day visit of Florence with local guide
including, Santa Maria Novella Church, the Duomo, the Baptistery, Santa Croce Basilica.
On to Padua. Accommodation at hotel , dinner and overnight.
Day 9 Padua
After breakfast half day visit of Padua with local guide , including of St. Anthony’s Basilica.
Free time for personal activities. Overnight and dinner at hotel
Day 10 Padova / Venice /Padova ( 80 km)
After breakfast departure for the visit of Venice. Transfer by private boat to St. Mark’s
Square where you will meet the local guide . Half day visit of St. Mark Square, St. Mark Basilica
and the Doge’s Palace. Time free for personal activities and transfer by private boat to reach
the coach. Transfer back to Padua for dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 11 Venice /departure
After breakfast transfer to Venice Airport for departure.
Masses can be organized every day and Papal Audience in Rome will take place on Wednesday
